Vaccination protocol for all Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort employees

On 28 April 2021, Sirenis Hotels & Resorts launched a vaccination protocol for all Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort employees.

We are proud to announce that our staff are now being vaccinated on a priority basis in order to protect against COVID-19. This is a hugely important step in guaranteeing the health and well-being of both our employees and our guests, allowing us to continue offering a safe and reliable option for our visitors from across the world.

Under the motto ‘Let’s not let our guard down, let’s continue taking care of ourselves!’ the process has been coordinated with the Dominican Republic Public Health Department as part of its vaccination-prioritisation strategy within the tourism sector, with the aim of consolidating the Dominican tourist area as a secure destination, prepared to receive the millions of visitors hoping to enjoy holidays in Punta Cana once more, after months of travel restrictions.

The programme is being carried out in a wide, communal area of the hotel by qualified staff from partner health centres, following all sanitary standards recommended by the authorities. The mass-vaccination campaign we are undertaking within the hotel will be completed this coming weekend.

The aim of the Dominican Public Health Ministry is to guarantee vaccination against the virus for all Dominican Republic tourism-sector employees and their families, and as such it has provided hotels, hotel chains and airports with the necessary vaccine doses and security protocols in order to immunise tourism-sector employees with the speed demanded by employees.
